How do I use AskColorado?
- Click where it indicates "Click Here To Ask a Question."
- Another webpage will open for you to provide login information. Please fill out the form, then type in your question and click on "Connect."
- You may chat with your AskColorado librarian in the top part of the screen.
- You may receive information from the librarian in the bottom frame. You might receive Web pages, copies of documents, or a series of slides helping you find information.
- If you would like to review a website, click on the web address in the chat area. This will open a browser window with that website in it.
- When you're done, click on "End Session." at the top.

How do I get a transcript?
You may wish to have a transcript of your AskColorado session. Four ways to get a transcript:
- When you login to ask a question, use the option to provide your email address. If you provide an accurate email address, your transcript will automatically be emailed to you after your session.
- When you are in AskColorado, click the "Print" button at the top. This will print your transcript.
- When you are done, click "End Session." If you did not provide an accurate email address at login, you will be prompted to enter your email. You will automatically be sent a transcript to the e-mail address given.
- You may email askcolorado@cde.state.co.us. Please include the date and time of your call as well as the question you asked. This will help locate the correct transcript. This will then be emailed to you.
