Staffing

Please be patient with us. There may be 1-4 librarians online depending on the time of day. Sometimes we get really busy and just can't handle large numbers of people on the service at the same time. During busy times, the average wait for a librarian may be 5 to 10 minutes, or more. We'll do our best to get to you, but if you are unable to wait, please try AskColorado again later. Thank you!

Peak Hours

AskColorado is very popular with kids and teens, so we sometimes get quite busy and often can't assist everyone asking questions, especially on school days and during the early evening hours. Your wait to chat with a librarian may be longer during these hours. If you're short on time, please consider trying AskColorado at a time when there may be less traffic - early morning, late night, or weekends, especially Saturdays. Thank you.
